It will last roughly twice as long as a regular, paint-finished bird cage. The cage is also easy to clean, thanks to its large access front door. This door measure about 24.5" by 9.5", so you will have no problem placing or removing a bird when needed. It features a lock to prevent your bird from easily getting out. You can easily clean the inside of the cage when messes occur. And a large seed catcher at the bottom stops pellets from reaching the floor. A large wooden perch and three (3) 20oz stainless steel feeders are included inside.
Arguably the most exciting and fun aspect of the King's Cages 8003223 Playpen Bird Cage is the play area at the top. This is perfect for letting your feathered friend get out and have some active play time. There are two (2) ladders, which are fantastic for birds that like to climb and work their talons.
