RARE VINTAGE PRE-WAR PREWAR KATZ 515 LIMITED TINPLATE O GAUGE TRAIN RUNS! READ!

If you collect prewar electric trains, you know how scarce this little train is!  Henry Katz "515 Limited" as produced early in the depression in the 1930's.  I haven't seen many that are still in this good of shape, it's not perfect by any stretch, but, it's far better than most I've seen, and, amazingly, unlike almost all of these, it runs!
BUT, it will need some TLC!
Somebody did some ugly solder work on the pickup shoe long ago (wasn't me, I promise) and the pickup roller is dead.  But, bench testing the little guy, if you put a contact wire up there in that ugly solder work and touch the other wire to a leading wheel, the motor comes to life right away and you get an instant ozone maker!  The motor is attached in this thing with a rivet so you'll need some patience to repair the pickup roller correctly, but, it'll be worth your time.  I don't have the time, and I'm fortunate enough to have another one or this one wouldn't be for sale.  Needs a good home and a little love and you've got yourself a very rare little train that was some kid's pride and joy back in the early thirties.  Not many of these around, so, don't miss this one, easier to find a Blue Comet than it is one of these things!
