rks great with all other 3-Rail O/027 gauge trains from Lionel, K-Line, MTH, Williams, Weaver, etc...
This powerful short diesel engine features dual "maintenance free" can motors, 8 wheel drive, 4 traction tires, conventional transformer control, 3 position electronic reversing
(Fwd-Neutral-Rev)
with lock-out switch, blinking cab roof beacon, directional LED headlights & markers
(LED lights are only "On" when engine is moving)
, operating magnetic couplers, electronic diesel horn sound,
metal frame & handrails
and crisp/colorful LIRR colors with "Dashing Dan" logo.
***Note: the horn does require transformer whistle/horn (or separate) control to activate the sound.***
The combination of the dual motors, 8 wheel drive, 4 traction tires and an engine weight of nearly 2 lbs gives this short engine great pulling power.
This short (10") S-4 is the RMT re-make of the classic K-Line S-2 with the RMT addition of directional LED headlights & markers, diesel horn sound, blinking cab roof beacon and crewmen figures.
This engine is perfect for 0-27 diameter curves (027 layouts) but is just as comfortable on the larger curves as well.
Prior to listing I lubed the gears & rollers and then briefly tested this engine on my layout and the motors, reversing unit all lights and the diesel horn all worked great!
This engine comes with the original box & insert and I will wrap & pack with care prior to shipment.  The engine instructions are printed on the back of the box!
