I received the soldering station yesterday. Your description does not give the unit enough fanfare. I am totally pleased with what I received. The unit is made of extruded aluminum housing, and the whole thing is first class! Other's on Ebay may have new and used stations for sale, but this is the best buy for the money. I bought this soldering station because it looked like a bargain and I thought it would just work for the work I needed to do. It turned out that it really was a bargain because it is far better soldering station than I expected and I use it often for all sorts of work. It has become my favorite.
