Chamberlain and LiftMaster have been producing the MyQ openers since the early part of 2012,
so if you bought one of these openers since then, this module will most likely apply to you.
The Craftsman AssureLink opener is built by LiftMaster and uses the same technology.
Note that we've found that this modification does not work with the LiftMaster 8500 Elite Jackshaft Opener.

I have developed a universal interface module that restores full compatibility between your existing
access control device
and your new MyQ intelligent opener, or equivalent.
This listing is for an inline interface module, and not a receiver, or other device.
It simply connects between your existing receiver/control device and garage door opener.
Each module is hand built and individually tested.

If your motor unit has a yellow learn button and yellow antenna wire, then yours is a Security+ 2.0 model.
If you have an older Security+ opener (not the 2.0), then this module

Simply connect your legacy control device to the module input.  Connect the output cable from the module to the wires that run between your opener and wall control panel and that's it!   Power up your legacy device and activate it as usual to operate your opener (you may have to initially cycle the device up to 3 times to pair the intelligent universal interface with the garage door opener the first time, but after that, it will work every time).

Note that I can also modify many other similar devices to once again function with your new opener -- universal remote receivers, fingerprint readers, home automation interfaces, etc.  If it used to work with your old opener, but no longer works with your new one, send me a note and let's get your device working again!  If it can't be done, you're only out the shipping.
