VINTAGE HANDMADE WOOD & METAL WIRE DOME 2 TIER BIRDCAGE

Description

Offered for auction a "VINTAGE HANDMADE WOOD & METAL WIRE 2-TIER DOME BIRDCAGE WITH SPRING DOOR CLOSURE". This Birdcage features (2) perching areas, the dome with a wire ring and the lower area with a circular wood rod.  It has front spring door closure and removable metal tray on the cage floor.  There are hand painted designs on the top of the lower compartment.  Overall dimensions: Height from bottom to Finial top...26", Width...10", Depth...6".  There is no
maker's mark or date of origin on the bottom.  This Birdcage is in very good vintage pre-owned condition with normal wear consistent with age.  There is sporadic paint crazing on some areas of the wood surfaces and slight uneven surface on the leg bottom.  The attached lower door opening where the tray slides in might need adjusting to remain closed.  The tray is in good condition with some surface rust.  There are pin closures on either side of bottom trap to lock in place.  This Birdcage is clean, from a smoke-free environment and offered "as is" with no returns or refunds.  This listing is for the Birdcage only; Jewel Bird, Bell and Yellow Birds are for staging and not offered in this listing.
